Medical Equipment Lending Library Available to Clydesdale Residents
Clydesdale residents Joan and James Sayre have generously created a medical equipment lending library in their basement. Thanks to many thoughtful donations, they now have a wide selection of items available for temporary loan—at no cost—to neighborhood residents.
Available equipment includes:
- Bedside toilets and raised toilet seats
- Crutches, canes, and grabbers
- Cooling wraps (for knees and shoulders)
- Rigid boots and shower chairs
- Walkers (with and without seats) and a wheelchair
- Plus other helpful recovery aids
Over the past year, about a dozen residents recovering from surgeries (shoulder, hip, knee, foot, or hand) have borrowed equipment and found it extremely helpful during their recovery.
