Late Summer Community Update
Pond & Fountain Update
First, I want to apologize for how long it took to get the fountain in Pond One back up and running. We experienced some commitment and management concerns with our previous pond maintenance company. After evaluating the situation, the Board made the decision to terminate that contract.
We have now brought on a new, nationally recognized pond management company. They will be responsible for the overall health and maintenance of all of our ponds, including the fountains, fountain lights, and aerators.
The good news is that, in addition to receiving what we believe will be better service, we expect to save approximately 30% of our budgeted pond maintenance costs under the new contract.
Solitude has the fountains of Pond 1 and 2 working correctly. The breaker for Pond 3 is tripping. After inspection we think there is a cut in the cord or something wrong internally with the motor. One fountain at Pond 4 is working and the other is not. This winter, we plan to send fountains from 3 and 4 to get inspected, tested, and either repaired or replaced.
Landscaping & Irrigation
Mill Brothers started the season with us in April and May with a new irrigation specialist and property manager. Unfortunately, things did not go as well as we had hoped. Despite having a relatively mild winter, the combination of extreme summer heat and irrigation issues caused several of our grass areas to suffer.
The Board stepped in and made it clear that the problems needed to be corrected. As the old saying goes, “the squeaky wheel gets the grease.”
Mill Brothers responded by bringing back our original irrigation technician and property manager, and we are very pleased with the results. As you have probably noticed, the property has responded very well and is looking much better.
Management Company Change
I know many of you may be thinking, “Didn’t we just change management companies?” The answer is yes, and we understand the frustration that another transition may cause.
Faith Pro came to us as part of Touchstone’s acquisition, and while the Board properly vetted the company at the time, we have experienced a number of increasingly concerning issues with its management structure and service.
Since the transition, the principal owner we originally worked with has left the company. Our primary Account Manager, Amanda, who had joined Faith Pro from Touchstone, also left. We were then assigned a replacement manager who, unfortunately, did not have the experience or knowledge needed to effectively manage our community and subsequently left as well.
After carefully considering our options, the Board strongly believes it is in the best interest of Clydesdale Park to make another change rather than continue down a path that we do not believe will provide the level of service our community deserves.
We interviewed several companies and selected Kellison, a well-respected local HOA and Metro District management company based in Loveland. Kellison is a smaller organization, which we believe will allow us to receive more personal, responsive, and efficient service tailored to the needs of Clydesdale Park.
There is also an added benefit: Amanda Benavidez, who was our Account Manager at both Touchstone and Faith Pro, has accepted a position with Kellison and will be our Account Manager again. We are very pleased to have someone who already knows our community, our history, and our needs returning to work with us.
What Happens Next?
The transition is already underway. We have provided Faith Pro with our required 60-day notice of termination, and effective October 1, 2026, Clydesdale Park will be managed by Kellison.
Kellison will conduct our annual HOA meeting in November. Beginning with the transition, all HOA dues and future payment information will be handled through Kellison.
Included with this newsletter is an introduction letter from Kellison, along with the proxy for approval of the 2027 budget and information regarding future HOA dues payments.
We recognize that changing management companies again may seem frustrating, but the Board did not make this decision lightly. We believe this is the right move for Clydesdale Park and, most importantly, for establishing a long-term partnership with a management company that can provide the personal service, responsiveness, and support our community deserves.
Thank you all for your patience, support, and continued commitment to making Clydesdale Park a great place to live.
